Smart reuse of boxes

ODYSSEY ROBOTICS has carried out the project entitled “Development of a dynamic inspection system based on vision and artificial intelligence” funded by the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) included in the aid program SME INNOVATION PROJECTS (INNOVA-CV), in the action of Innovation InnovaProD, with financing from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, the subsidy being € 33,926.76.

The ODYSSEY ROBOTICS project focuses on addressing the challenges of climate change and sustainability in line with the European Green Deal. They seek to reduce the environmental impact and carbon footprint in logistics by using artificial intelligence to reuse cardboard boxes. The main objective is to develop an artificial intelligence system that inspects and sorts cardboard parcel boxes in distribution centres for optimal reuse, reducing cardboard consumption throughout the supply chain. In addition, it collects data for future optimisation strategies.
